In my culture and religion, we are taught that to build a house, school, or orphanage is one of the greatest achievements one can acquire in life. I was motivated to take design as I was inspired by this, and wanted to contribute positively to my community. Throughout my education I have come to find that design is never a linear process, and requires hardwork and the ability to learn from error in order to create a successful design. My aim is to evoke emotion and arouse sentiment through thoughtful and critical designs, and to reconnect the mind of the public to the nature and outdoor spaces that are often overlooked.
